Footprint Butterflies

For our mother's day cards we made butterflies using footprints. (Don't mind the one antenna.. Connor pulled the other off, and I cant seem to find it!) Cute, personal, and much cheaper then a Hallmark card!

Rodolph the Reindeer

This can make a cute Christmas card, or a gift! As you can see its a combination of a footprint, and both hand prints! We used brown paint and once dried add some eyes and a nose!

Christmas Handprint Wreath

This project took some advance planning.

A few days before hand I traced each child's hand print. Then I made several copies of them. The kids (3+) cut their own out of the paper. Next I cut the inside of a paper plate out, leaving just the outside. I had to play around with each child's hand print to find how much we needed to go around their plate.

Next, we were ready to make the wreath! I worked one on one with each child to help them glue their hands on. Then we painted our wreaths with green glitter paint!

After they were dried, we glued red "berries" on, and I added a bow!

I loved the way they turned out, so it became our door decoration for all to see :D

Handprint Turkies

This is a great keepsake, that is more about the product then the process! When doing hand print projects I always take two sheets of paper out! One for me to capture my product, and another for the kids to free paint on. Look how cute our turkies turned out!

Ghost Feetprints

How precious are these ghost footprints? Simply take a print with white paint on black paper... turn it upside down and add some google eyes! We even mailed one to Grandma & Grandpa! (Grandpa uses it as a bookmark!)
